Don't let the "Battle of Jakku" add-on fool you. Star Wars: Battlefront won't be hosting any Force Awakens showdowns between the Resistance and the First Order.

We already know that Electronic Arts tehcir planning a full "season" of downloadable add-ons for the online shooter that will introduce 16 additional maps and four new modes to the game. The free "Battle of Jakku" map that was released shortly after the game launched does focus on the desert gezegen that appears in The Force Awakens, but it's m appropriate to think of that mir prequel content.
