ENGINEERING DATA ONLINE

The first course entirely online with frequency
It is a course where lectures, exercises, moments of study and discussion among students, lecturers and tutors are made solely and entirely online: a new departure for Italy, made possible by collaboration between somedia, part of Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso and the Politecnico di Milano.
Designed from the reform of the university (which includes 3 years of study for bachelor's degree + 2 additional years for the degree of specialization), the course allows the attainment of bachelor's degree and is fully equivalent to the traditional one. E 'given by professors from the Polytechnic of Milan and offers the same subjects of study, the same work load, the same examinations and awards the degree "in presence". But in most, the path of study is conducted entirely at a distance.
The physical presence of the student at home to Como, Politecnico di Milano, is required only when the examinations at the end of each semester, for a period of "presence" of about two weeks a year.
Teaching using offline tools (interactive lessons on CD-ROM) and online (e-mail, forum, chat, message boards, virtual classrooms, live sessions, exercises, etc.. Through the Learning Space platform) and allows the student to:
- Specialize nell'ICT (Information Communication Technology) by using just the tools of ICT itself - rsonalizzare times and modes of study without the constraints of the presence in the classroom-communicate directly via e-mail with teachers, tutors and fellow students
Especially designed for students outside the home, for people with personal and family demands that limit the possibilities for movement and for those already in employment, the course is distinguished by its great flexibility, which is further enhanced by a registration system that allows claims to each student to distribute their course of studies over a period of time ranging from 3 to 6 years, according to the needs and availability, including economic, of each.
